Drawing Attention

Drawing Attention was a collaborative project delivered in partnership with the British Museum and the Northern School of Art, working with young people to respond to historic and contemporary artworks on loan from the British Museum.

Alongside this, the award-winning Hartlepool Young Producers explored museum collections through co-curation.

The project was funded by the British Museum, Hartlepool Borough Council and Tees Valley Museums Group.

This six month programme foregrounded new perspectives on historic objects, creating space for participants to shape how these stories are seen and understood.
